Dŏmĭna

Within the 'Human Rights' theme, the Dŏmĭna column, from the Latin word meaning Woman, was born from the desire to inspire and follow in the footsteps of women who had a special interest and an important role in society. Not only the Domina column did originally come from the desire to give voice to women's contribution, but also from the duty to spread their knowledge. This column is dedicated to all those female individuals who have contributed to the scientific, technological, political, social and cultural development of human civilisation; to those women who have brought about significant changes for the whole community. Domina aims, through its publications, to remember stories from the past to the present day. It is hoped that the column will recognise these talented women and inspire other women to take them as examples to achieve their goals.
