Venice Diplomatic Society
The Venice Diplomatic Society is a socio-cultural non-profit organization recognized by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, whose membership is mainly composed of its students and alumni. Founded in 2015, originally its aim was to grant Comparative International Relations Master’s Degree students the skills and knowledge of diplomacy. However, over time VDS has evolved and broadened its offer as much as its target. Today VDS organizes many activities whose participants come from different academic backgrounds: what they share is their passion for international studies in all their features.
VDS takes care of simulations of the EU institutions, workshops for Model UN participants, online thematic monthly publications, debates and... much more. Above all, “VDS” is an open hub - to gather phygitally - for committed students who truly believe in youth empowerment and taking action. VDS wants to be a channel to respectfully share international customs and cultures across all levels of the Italian Education System, in order to raise youth’s awareness about the glocal
dimension: not only is “Learn How To Make The Difference” our motto, it effectively claims our vision.
